Private companies controlled by private equity and venture capital investors, family offices, and entrepreneurs are growing in both size and prominence, leading to a greater focus on how the boards of these portfolio companies carry out their oversight duties. At the same time, all companies face increasing scrutiny of how they manage and oversee environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, including climate change; customer and worker health, safety, and well-being; and workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The KPMG Board Leadership Center is fielding a survey of private company directors and executives to understand how private portfolio company boards are overseeing the ESG issues that are receiving so much attention today.
If you would like to receive a copy of the survey results, please provide your email address at the end of the survey. Your participation in this survey is strictly anonymous. Your email will not be associated with your responses.
